What makes Message Bottle’s products different?

  • Message Bottle’s mission is simple, we strive to spread awareness, love, and positivity throughout the world by supporting those impacted by mental health problems. Our candles are designed with heart-warming customizable labels and aromatherapeutic scents. We also believe that candles should be made with the best ingredients (clean and eco-friendly) at accessible prices. 

What ingredients do you use? Are they safe?

  • Our candles are clean-burning and eco-friendly. All of our ingredients are phthalate-free, paraben-free, cruelty-free, and 100% vegan. 

How should I care for my product?

  • Allow your candle to burn until all the wax on the surface has become liquid to prevent tunneling. 
  • Pinch or trim off burnt bits of the wick before next use. (Tip: you can do it with the jar upside down to prevent burnt bits falling onto the wax) 
  • Allow your candle to cool for 24-hours after each burn.
  • Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours. 
  • Ideally, use a snuffer or lid to put out the candle. 

Can I get my product personalized?

  • Yes! Absolutely. All of our candle labels can be personalized with your favorite quote or personal message. Each customization can range from 1-30 characters. 

Why is my candle tunneling? 

  • Your candle’s first burn is very important. During your first burn, it is important to burn your candle until it reaches a full melt pool, with melted wax from edge to edge prior to blowing your candle out (approximately 2-3 hours). Doing this will ensure an even burn. 

Why is there a lot of smoke when I light my candle? 

  • Trim your wick! Before you relight your candle, gently pinch or trim the burnt tips of your wick. 

Why is my candle yellowish?

Can I change or cancel my order?

  • If you would like to change or cancel your order, please email us at customerservice@messagebottle.com including your order number and request ASAP after your order. We will try our best to cancel or make changes. However there is no guarantee. We will let you know if changes or cancellations can be made. 

Shipping & Returns 

Do you ship worldwide?

  • We ship throughout the US, including to Alaska and Hawaii. We currently do not offer worldwide shipping but would love to ship internationally in the future with your support! 

Do you offer free shipping?

  • Yes! Enjoy free shipping on all orders over $70! 

When will I receive my order(s)?

  • Once you’ve completed your purchase, it will take around 2-5 days for us to make your orders and ship them out. Please see below for the estimated shipping time:
    • USA: 3-10 days 
    • Please note that shipping duration may vary due to several factors such as traffic, weather conditions, high volume shipments, COVID19, etc. 
    • If you haven’t received your orders 20 days after you place your order, please contact us at customerservice@messagebottle.com

What is your return/exchange policy?

  • We always strive for 100% customer satisfaction! If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase with Message Bottle, please contact us, we would love to help! Unfortunately, since Message Bottle is still very small and our products are made-to-order, we can’t afford returns at the moment. If your product is broken or damaged upon arrival, please contact us immediately and include photos and a detailed description in your email, and we will help you with your exchange or replacement ASAP.
